NAARO is the architectural photography studio led by Freya Najade and Marcela Spadaro. Our passion is the documentation of innovative architecture that produces a positive impact on the built environment.
NAARO’s vision is the result of Freya and Marcela’s combined expertise. Freya, is an award-winning photographer whose strength lies within the documentation of the social and built environment. Marcela, is trained as an architect and worked for over 10 years at the forefront of contemporary architecture with Zaha Hadid Architects, prior to co-founding NAARO with Freya.

George is a Greek photographer and art director whose work traverses architecture, fashion, interiors and still life. As a result of his unique eye for composition and light, he brings a defining attention to detail to the projects he is involved with at NAARO. Projects: Megara Residence

Manuel is a Brazilian architect and photographer. Both living and working in São Paulo, his creative sensitivity and photographic approach are a great asset to NAARO’s efforts to deliver in Brazil, an architectural photography that is unique, yet local. Projects: Casa de Fim de Semana

Ethan is an award winning Taiwanese photographer working with NAARO in Asia. His passion for photography as well as his determination and resourcefulness while carrying out photo-shoots are key strengths that he brings to the projects he undertakes. Projects: National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts
